From garment to character

Each look takes on a distinct posture, gesture and rhythm. Individual character loops extend the campaign into the digital collection, giving each silhouette its own presence.

The collection, in detail

Twelve moving previews bring the camera close to the making: cutting, reshaping, fastening and handling the garments. These short films make construction part of the collection’s online experience.

Process becomes performance

A further twelve technique films connect the making to the finished character. Material, construction and movement sit together, showing how an idea changes from the worktable to the body.

A film beyond the campaign

The long-form film brings together Couturier John Galliano’s interview, the working process and staged performance. New York and Paris units contribute different perspectives to the same collection.

One direction, across formats

The responsibility spans performance, cinematography, editing, sound and visual effects across the moving-image work. Campaign, digital, exhibition and retail each require a different scale and rhythm, while remaining part of the same visual world.
